Door Pottery is proud to bring you the finest quality handmade Arts and Crafts pottery from a small Madison, Wisconsin working studio. Since I have only a (very small) studio, I do not have a storefront nor can I accommodate guests or visitors. I can’t even store pottery there so it’s all in my basement at home!

Moving away from order and production has given me the time and opportunity to lean more into my artistic creativity, which is where my heart lies. This change will allow me more freedom of artistic expression and I’m excited to be getting back to my roots in the world of pottery making. The gorgeous Midwest landscape provides abundant sources of beauty and offers me inspiration. The same natural elements that influenced the Prairie School of Design have influenced my art.

You’ll be seeing a variety of forms, styles and glazes in the days to come. I’ll be throwing some pieces from my faience line when the mood strikes and you’ll continue to see those glazes on some of my pottery.
