Welcome to Door Pottery of Wisconsin, where I continue to bring you the finest quality handmade Arts and Crafts pottery from a small one person studio. My inspiration and influence comes from The Prairie School of Design and gorgeous Midwest landscapes right here in the Midwest. Being semi retired, I’ve been able to lean more into my artistic creativity and expression, which has helped get me back to my roots in the world of pottery. Thanks, everybody, who was able to attend the WPA Show at the end of August. I sold quite a bit of Door Pottery as well as some from my personal collection. Funny, I seem to have some on every shelf at home still. Ha!

I am back to teaching after three weeks away. I really do enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and wish I would have known this about 20 years ago. Ah, well, better late than never. Most of my pieces are those that I am using to demonstrate skills to my students. I then turn them into what you will eventually see here on the website. I’m thinking another winter sale sometime prior to December to wrap up the year. Stay tuned…
